"Raves are one of the most popular venues where club drugs are distributed. Club drugs include MDMA (more commonly known as “Ecstasy” or "Molly"), GHB & Rohypnol (also known as the “date rape” drugs), Ketamine, Methamphetamine (also known as “Meth”), and LSD." In the U.S., some law enforcement agencies have branded the subculture as a drug-centric culture, as rave attendees have been known to use drugs such as Marijuana, 2CB, and DMT.
Rave culture incorporated disco culture's same love of dance music, drug exploration, sexual promiscuity, and hedonism.
